Britney Spears Is Presenting At The ESPYs: Could She Be Next Year’s Super Bowl Performer After All?
Access Hollywood posted the seating chart for tomorrow night’s (July 15) ESPYs and sitting among the sporting elite are Britney Spears and Ciara. (Both are listed as presenters on their place cards). CiCi is dating Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, so her attendance isn’t that surprising — but why is Brit taking on presenting duties (for the first time in nearly a decade) at an awards ceremony celebrating excellence in sport?
It’s a stretch (for sure), but there’s always the possibility of the pop princess being announced as next year’s Super Bowl performer. That would also explain Britney’s sudden burst of motivation for finishing album nine. (She recently hit the studio with DJ Mustard and Ian Kirkpatrick). On the other hand, Britney is a notoriously shaky live performer and anything less than a spectacular showing would leave her open to public ridicule. Maybe she’s just there to support Caitlyn Jenner, who is receiving an award?
