Lana Del Rey Offers Up More ‘Honeymoon’ Details
Lana Del Rey finally premiered “Honeymoon,” the title track off her next album, and to go along with the release she revealed a few more tidbits of information about her third-full length. In an Instagram post with a snippet of the new song, she announced that the Honeymoon LP will have 14 tracks, “some with a muddy trap energy and some inspired by late-night Miles Davis drives.”
The singer also explained that “Honeymoon” feels like “where the record begins and ends” — so maybe she’s teasing some reprise action on the full-length.
Here it is, the first and title track off my record – Honeymoon. In some ways I feel it’s where the record begins and ends… there are so many other tracks on the record, 13 others to be exact- Some with a muddy trap energy and some inspired by late-night Miles Davis drives… But I love this song because it encapsulates all of the things that come naturally to me. //lanadel.re/HONEYMOON
So there you have it. If anyone can pull off a sad jazz-trap project, it’s LDR.
