Learn the words to 5 Seconds of Summer's brand new single.

5 Seconds Of Summer kicked off the North American leg of their world tour last night (July 17) in Las Vegas. To celebrate, the pop punkers performed new single “She’s Kinda Hot” live for the first time. The crowd cheered, particularly when drummer Ashton Irwin sang his solo.

With its “desert cowboy riff” and the self-deprecating tone in their voices, “She’s Kinda Hot” initially sounds like Puddle Of Mudd‘s 2002 hit “She Hates Me” (which, funny enough, recalls “I Saw Your Mommy” by Suicidal Tendencies). But 5 Seconds Of Summer quickly move on to declare themselves (and their fans, by association) “kings and queens of the new broken scene” — ending on a higher note than when the band started.
