Lil Wayne And Charlie Puth’s “Nothing But Trouble” Lyric Video: Watch

Just as Lil Wayne and Charlie Puth‘s “Nothing But Trouble” climbs the R&B/hip-hop charts, Atlantic Records has dropped the song’s official lyric video.

“Nothing But Trouble” actually samples a song that Puth quietly released last year, called “Instagram Models.” The lyric video has the words to his mournful hook, along with Lil Wayne’s embittered verses about hookups who aren’t seeking his love, just the 10,000 followers from being associated with him, appear as a female silhouette walks across the screen. It isn’t the most imaginative out there, though it gets the job done.

“Nothing But Trouble” appears on the official soundtrack to 808, a documentary about the famed Roland TR-808 drum machine. Watch the lyric video, then the (far more compelling) 808 trailer below.
