Drake Previews A New Song, Possibly A D.R.A.M. Remix: Watch
Apparently Drake is the best wedding guest, ever. This past weekend he gave a speech during a friend’s reception. Then he performed a new song — what sounds to some like a remix of D.R.A.M.‘s rising hit “Cha Cha.”
Drake wouldn’t the first to cosign the Virginia rapper-singer; that would be Beyonce, who posted an Instagram video of her dancing to “Cha Cha,” captioned, “This song makes me happy!”
(“My heart stopped for about half a second,” D.R.A.M. said to VIBE, about when he heard about Beyonce’s cosign. To be fair, ours would too.)
However, a Drake remix could be the push “Cha Cha” needs to actually get on radio. Its video has over 2 million YouTube views, but the song itself only just entered Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.
