George Ezra broke big internationally in 2014 with debut LP Wanted On Voyage. The album has already produced two smash hits (“Budapest” and “Blame It On Me”) and sold more than one million copies in the UK alone. The sandy-haired Brit reached the top 40 stateside with the former single and should cause more chart damage when the latter is serviced to radio. As for the rest of the world? They’re already up to the single number six.

Like much of the Brit’s LP, “Barcelona” lands somewhere between an acoustic ballad and a lullaby. Perhaps it’s the 22-year-old’s deep, calming voice that lends his music such a charmingly drowsy quality. As for the video? George takes for the quirky route this time around. He performs the song in a leafy jungle (or maybe it’s just a massive greenhouse) before flying away. It’s weird, but it works. Watch up top.
