Pop Perspective: "Bitch I'm Madonna" Video
Find out what all the Idolator editors had to say about Madonna's new video.

Madonna has received an immense amount of ageist-based hate since her Rebel Heart album dropped back in March, but she’s made it very clear that she does not give a damn what you think!

In a new interview with The Canadian Press, the entertainer compares herself to legendary artist Picasso as she claims she will be making music until the day she dies.

“I like to compare myself to other kinds of artists like Picasso. He kept painting and painting until the day he died. Why? Because I guess he felt inspired to do so. Life inspired him, so he had to keep expressing himself, and that’s how I feel,” the 56-year-old stated.

Madonna, whose creativity and pop culture influence has not run out for decades, is gearing up for her Rebel Heart World Tour — whose first leg officially kicks off on August 29 in Miami, FL.

She reveals a few details about the tour, saying “The theme I really truly explore in this show more than anything is love and romance. I want people to walk out like they’re feeling inspired and like they’ve seen something they’ve never seen before [and] felt something they’ve never felt before.”

Comedienne Amy Schumer will serve as the opener for Madge’s NYC tour dates, and she was picked wanted to try something other than the “usual run-of-the-mill” DJs. If the singer’s Instagram is any indication, then this tour is not one to miss!
