Taylor, Ed & Beyonce Lead VMA Nominations
See who is up for what at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.

There are so many moving pieces in this whole MTV VMAs Twitter drama — from Nicki Minaj expressing her disappointment over this year’s Video Of The Year nominees to Taylor Swift misinterpreting Nicki’s intentions to Taylor’s ultimate apology — that, naturally, Azealia Banks decided to hop into the mix to make things even more tense.

The Broke With Expensive Taste songbird first went on a rant at her own lack of VMA nominations, declaring on Twitter, “All my videos deserve VMas and my album deserves a Grammy but I’ll never get one because America doesn’t like opinionated black women.”

According to Billboard, Banks apparently later chided Nicki Minaj’s lament at her own supposed lack of nominations by tweeting, “But all u did was show ur ass, an ass we’ve all seen plenty of times.” Said tweet is currently nowhere to be found on the Twitter feed of recent butt-baring Playboy model Azealia.

What is still visible is another rant about the state of pop music in general:

In other news, Banks says she’s no longer signed to the record label arm of Prospect Park, which distributed her debut album upon its release last fall.
