With Major Lazer‘s current radio smash “Lean On” now sitting in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and having won Idolator’s Song Of The Summer 2015 poll — the latter clearly being the duo’s classiest achievement ever! — the electronic pair have moved on to their next single, “Powerful.”

British popstress Ellie Goulding and NYC reggae singer Tarrus Riley are the featured vocalists on “Powerful,” which we labeled “a gorgeous pop song that sounds like it’s ringing out through Brazilian favelas late in the night, with [Riley’s] incredible voice crushing the chorus” when we reviewed Major Lazer’s Peace Is The Mission album in early June.

James Slater directed the track’s accompanying visual, and if The X-Files is your jam, then you’ll dig watching Ellie and Tarrus discovering their previously untapped psychokinetic powers by bending spoons, making food (and people) levitate and causing general chaos for the patrons of a diner.
