Taylor Swift takes back what she said: "I thought I was being called out."

Days after MKTO dropped their latest EP Bad Girls, the pop duo joined Taylor Swift on stage during her 1989 World Tour concert in Boston on July 25.

Before breaking into “Classic”, Swift sung MKTO’s praises. She called the duo’s breakthrough hit the most romantic song that a guy could write for a girl. She also assured that the guys, Tony Oller and Malcolm Kelley, are just as sweet in person.

“I want to remind each and every single one of you that the people that you are about to see on this stage had decided to come here out of the goodness of their own heart — for free — because they wanted to see you, because they love you and wanted to surprise you,” Swift said.

MKTO didn’t necessarily need the lengthy introduction, though; the crowd sang along loudly, and the duo was as charming as always. Watch below.
