Jewel had ’90s kids crying and shaking last year when she revealed that a sequel (or bookend) to seminal 1995 debut LP Pieces Of You was on the way. The singer/songwriter announced the title and tracklist of the project yesterday (July 27) and keeps the excitement growing by unveiling the suitably low-key cover today. It’s just a simple portrait of the guitar-slinging diva looking exactly the same as she did in her ’90s hey day.

As an added bonus, the “Foolish Games” hitmaker also shared a preview of a new track called “Pretty Face Fool.” It’s a country-tinged guitar ballad (with lashings of strings) that showcases Jewel’s powerful pipes and impeccable songwriting craft. “What good’s a heart that’s too damn tough to break, that’s too damn cool to take a chance on love?” the comeback queen sings in her studio. “Yeah I took a chance on us.” Watch the promising teaser below. Picking Up The Pieces drops September 11.
