Bey Leads MTV VMA Noms
Bey, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift scored the most VMA nominations this year.

Following news that Mary J. Blige and Queen Latifah have joined the cast of NBC’s The Wiz, E! News reports none other than Beyoncé is in talks to star in the special. And as you might guess, she’s being offered the role of Glinda the Good Witch, alongside Blige’s Wicked Witch of the West and Latifah’s Wiz.

According to E!, the network is also eyeing Orange is the New Black star Uzo Aduba for the part, a smart move since it’s probably quite a pricey ordeal to lock down Queen Bey.

NBC’s live musical special airs December 3, following the network’s Carrie Underwood-starring turn in The Sound Of Music in 2013 and last year’s broadcast of Peter Pan starring Allison Williams and Christopher Walken.
