Lady Gaga Can Finally Start Working On Her Next Album
UPDATE: And like clockwork, Gaga just posted “LG5 time” on Instagram.
Lady Gaga took to Instagram to bid adieu to her Cheek To Cheek Tour (and era) with Tony Bennett. The seemingly endless co-headlining trek actually only lasted for the first half of 2015, wrapping up with a two-night stand in Washington, DC, over the weekend.
“I’m so sad that this tour is ending. I will never forget it as long as I live. And maybe longer,” Gaga wrote on Saturday (August 1), the last night of the tour. The farewell also included a birthday serenade for Bennett during one of the shows.

Now that her partnership with the legendary singer is over, this means Gaga is free to work on new, presumably non-jazz, non-sequel material for her proper ARTPOP follow-up.
