Rae Sremmurd’s ‘SremmLife 2’ Is On The Way
Last month, Rae Sremmurd‘s Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy said they were planning to drop two albums in 2015, aiming to release their SremmLife follow-up in December. And now their Ear Drummers boss Mike Will Made It has indicated that the sophomore LP is moving ahead as planned, revealing that the in-progress album is currently called SremmLife 2.
Every song on Sremmlife is a HIT.

The rappers’ debut full-length came out in January, making it one of the first big hip-hop releases of the year. If the sequel drops before December 31, it would put the duo in that exclusive category of rappers who’ve released two full-lengths in one calendar year, alongside Rick Ross, 2Pac and DMX. Pac and X managed to have their two respective albums debut at No. 1, but since SremmLife opened at No. 5, that feat won’t be replicated.
