Mariah Carey Is Coming To ‘Empire’ Season 2
Mariah Carey received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday (August 5), and during the ceremony, Empire creator and director Lee Daniels announced the diva would be making an appearance on season 2 of the hit Fox show.
“Watch her on Empire, you guys. She’s coming on Empire,” Daniels said. The two previously worked together on Precious and The Butler, both directed by Daniels.
Carey joins fellow pop stars like Ludacris and Kelly Rowland, who have also been added to the show’s list of upcoming cameos.
This means Mariah will be taking over your TV sets in the coming months. Last week, it was announced that she’d be starring in and directing a Christmas movie for Hallmark Channel called Mariah Carey’s Christmas Project, which will be the singer’s directorial debut.
