A Spice Reunion
The Spice Girls reunited (well, took a pic together) at David Beckham's birthday party.

It’s time to dust off that Spice World DVD! The Sun is reporting that the Spice Girls will reunite for a 20th anniversary tour in 2016 — albeit without Victoria Beckham. According to the not-always-reliable rag, four-fifths of the band made the decision “at a secret meeting in London last month.” Unfortunately, Posh Spice said “girl, bye” to the reunion because she’s too busy with her very successful fashion career.

“The door will be left open for Victoria to rejoin too, but I am told she is resolute,” Dan Wootton reports. While there’s sure to be plenty of interest in the tour, it’s a shame that Posh can’t be bothered. She’s arguably the most popular member and there’s something sad about the prospect of the ‘girls’ belting out their hits without her. It also makes Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell’s financial motives a little too obvious (let’s be real, they have turned flopping into an art form).

Spice Girls’ debut single “Wannabe” was released in July 1996. It topped the charts in 37 countries and helped their debut LP Spice sell 30 million copies around the globe.
