Kylie Minogue clearly knew pure camp was what was being called for with her Absolutely Anything soundtrack cut, “Absolutely Anything And Anything At All,” and one needs only watch the music video for the proof.
Here the dashing Australian diva bumps and grinds her way through a party with animated aliens, who serve as her backing band. It’s not the Kylie you’d expect, but it’s the Kylie we get until the singer serves up her next studio album, a follow-up to last year’s Kiss Me Once.
Monty Python vet Terry Jones directed Absolutely Anything (in UK theaters August 14), which stars Simon Pegg (Shaun Of The Dead) and Kate Beckinsale. The British film also features the voice of Robin Williams, in his final film role, plus all of the living, original Monty Python members, together for the first time in 33 years.
