Iggy Azalea Won’t Release New Music Until 2016
Back in June, Iggy Azalea let fans know she scrapped her sophomore album and started over from scratch, saying “Its [sic] too early to tell yet exactly how things will sound overall.” Well, it looks like she made pretty quick work, because it’s only two months later and she says she has knocked out a half-dozen new tracks for her next LP.
The news came this weekend when the Aussie rapper took to Twitter to update fans on her album progress, saying “things are going great” in the studio and that she has completed six songs.

But the new material won’t be heard any time soon, barring any leaks. Responding to a fan, Azalea said she won’t be releasing the album’s lead single until 2016. Along with a few more preliminary details about the planned LP, she revealed that the album will be accompanied by a documentary. Check out the rest of her tweets below.
