Kelly Clarkson Covers Bryan Adams’ “Heaven”: Watch
Kelly Clarkson has been on a roll during her current Piece By Piece Tour, covering the music of her contemporaries at a certain point on each stop. (See her renditions of Rihanna‘s “Stay,” Tori Kelly‘s “Nobody Love,” Nick Jonas‘ “Jealous” and Miley Cyrus‘ “Wrecking Ball,” for instance.) But over the weekend, at West Valley City, Utah’s USANA Ampitheatre, she took an old-school route by obliging a fan request for Bryan Adams‘ seminal 1985 ballad, “Heaven.”
“I chose this one because this is my husband’s, one of his favorite songs,” Clarkson said while introducing her cover of Adam’s chart-topping single. “And he’s here tonight.”
