JoJo Is Releasing Three Singles On August 21
JoJo isn’t playing! The comeback queen revealed that she’s releasing three new singles — or a tringle — on August 21 via her social media accounts this morning (August 11). Releasing dual singles for different radio formats was quite common in the late ’00s (see Beyonce’s “If I Were A Boy” and “Single Ladies”), but I can’t remember a triple-pronged approached. It might get a little confusing on the promo front, but I’m here for it. Too much JoJo is never enough!
At least one of those singles will be upbeat pop anthem “When Love Hurts.” The 24-year-old recently premiered the song at the iHeartMedia Music Summit and, from the brief snippet that surfaced online, it sounds like a smash. There’s no word as yet on the other two singles. JoJo collaborated with a bunch of pop heavyweights (Diane Warren, Harmony Samuels and MNEK), so they are sure to be good.
