On November 6, old Nirvana fans will get one last chance to buy new tunes from Kurt Cobain, and young Nirvana fans will get to feel the thrill of buying unheard Cobain music for the first time. The companion soundtrack to the Cobain documentary Montage Of Heck, comprising DIY solo Cobain recordings, will be released on that day in conjunction with the physical release of the film, according to Deadline.

Director Brett Morgen told Billboard the as-yet-untitled LP will consist of the music featured in the documentary, “audio montages that Kurt Cobain created,” between-track chatter and “a sketch comedy routine featuring Kurt voicing all of the characters.”

The compilation was culled from some 200 hours of recordings spread over 107 cassettes left behind by Cobain. Cobain’s estate granted Morgen access to the tapes as part of the documentary process.
