If you thought that Ryan Adams had a minor lapse in sanity or got bonked in the head with a low-flying pelican when he announced he’d be covering Taylor Swift‘s 1989 in its entirety — all done, mind you, in the style of The Smiths — then guess again, pop friends, for the McFeels train continues!

Following the snippets of his versions of “Bad Blood,” “Shake It Off” and “Welcome To New York,” Adams has now previewed his jangly rendition of Swift’s fifth 1989 single “Wildest Dreams.”

And you know what? You can kind of see what Ryan is doing here: Making a slightly-country version of a Taylor Swift album after Taylor Swift herself abandoned the slightly-country genre and went full-on Max Martin pop.

Wildest Dreams… @taylorswift #1989 Can’t wait too add Strings… Also has a surprise coda : )
