Rihanna Joins Season 9 Of ‘The Voice’ As Key Advisor
At this point, we’ve all pretty much made up our mind that Rihanna‘s #R8 album will never see the light of day. But a new announcement may give the Navy members a twinkle of hope. Variety recently revealed the popstress will join season nine of The Voice as a key advisor.
The announcement was made this morning (August 13) by NBC Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt at Television Critics’ Association’s press tour in Beverly Hills, CA. Along with Rihanna, Selena Gomez and Missy Elliott are reported to join the singing competition as mentors.
The new season of The Voice premieres September 21 on NBC. Let’s cross our fingers that Rihanna’s role will mean legitimate album promo (and a release date)!
