Miley Cyrus To Host ‘SNL’ Season Premiere
Miley Cyrus is busy cultivating a second career as television MC, hosting the MTV VMAs on August 30, and then on October 3 heading back to SNL to host the season premiere.
This will be Miley’s third time hosting Saturday Night Live, following gigs in 2011 and 2013 — for that second appearance she was also the musical guest, but there’s no word yet on whether she’s pulling double duty this time.
Season 41 kicks off later than usual this year, with the first run of episodes beginning in October. After Miley’s stint, Madonna tour-mate Amy Schumer will host on October 10, followed by Tracy Morgan on October 17. As of this writing, the musical guests haven’t been revealed.
