Demi Lovato Is Working With Sirah On Her Fifth Album
It looks like Iggy Azalea won’t be the only female rapper on Demi Lovato’s fifth album. The Disney diva revealed that she also collaborated with Sirah in a new interview with Capital FM. Who, you might be wondering? (No shade). Well, the 27-year-old was signed to Atlantic Records in 2012/2013 — check out her killer EP Inhale — and won a Grammy for her feature on Skrillex’s club smash “Bangarang.” However, this will be the LA-based singer/rapper’s first foray into pure pop.
As for Iggy, she recently tweeted that her D5 verse was in the can. “Recorded an awesome verse for demi today,” the “Trouble” diva revealed on Friday (August 14). “Very cool song.” Any other tidbits? “She likes it.” Well, that’s a relief. Demi’s current single “Cool For The Summer” reached a new peak of number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. It’s still gaining ground on radio and could sneak into the top 10 soon with another burst of promotion.
