Wiz Khalifa Arrested At LAX For Using A Hoverboard: Watch
Wiz Khalifa was arrested August 22 at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The reason why, he says, is because he refused to step off his hoverboard.
He notified his 20.9 million Twitter followers of the incident by posting an onlooker’s footage. The first clip shows Wiz on his hoverboard, asking why police would arrest him. The second shows three cops pinning him to the floor, raising their voices as they say, “Stop resisting.”
“I’m not resisting, sir,” Wiz says.
Personal hoverboards have become increasingly popular as of late, especially within the hip-hop crowd. Young Thug likes them. Meek Mill rides one during his “All Eyes On You” video. 2 Chainz had a few for sale at his pop-up shop in Atlanta, promoting his new mixtape Trapavelli.
Wiz even rode a gold hoverboard through LAX, the same airport where he was arrested, just days before the incident.
