J. Lo's New Single Has A "Latin Flair"
The new Jennifer Lopez single will drop any minute now.

Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Pitbull, Gloria Estefan and many more Latin pop stars are set to appear in HBO’s upcoming documentary The Latin Explosion: A New America. The film will examine the history and impact of Latin music in the US, from Desi Arnaz up through the so-called “Latin Explosion” of the ’90s, to artists like Pitbull and Romeo Santos today.

In addition to recent Paper cover star J. Lo and Mr. Worldwide, the doc will include interviews with Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, Eva Longoria, George Lopez, Cheech Marin and Sofía Vergara, with narration from John Leguizamo. It was directed by Matthew O’Neill and Jon Alpert, who helmed the Oscar-nominated documentary China’s Unnatural Disaster. Music industry legend Tommy Mottola served as executive producer.

“We have assembled the largest array of Latino superstars ever in a film telling a powerful story of their history and immigration, politics, and rise from a small minority population to the most critical demographic in the United States,” Mottola said in a statement.

The Latin Explosion: A New America premieres November 16 on HBO.
