Earlier today (August 27), pop-rap titans Macklemore & Ryan Lewis premiered their new single “Downtown,” featuring Melle Mel, Kool Moe Dee, Grandmaster Caz and Eric Nally. The upbeat track is equal parts “Thrift Shop” sequel and hip-hop throwback, and now they’ve shared a video that highlights those characteristics.

Directed by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Jason Koenig, the ’80s-inspired video features choreographed dance productions, a motorcycle chariot and a cameo from Seattle hero Ken Griffey, Jr., among other absurd visuals.
