Avicii gave his fans a triple whammy today by announcing his sophomore LP, Stories, and releasing not one, but two singles. (Seriously, though, Avicii — get on JoJo‘s level.) The album has an October 2 release date.

The first single is uplifting, piano-driven dance jam “For A Better Day,” which features the soaring vocals of Golden Globe winner Alex Ebert, frontman for Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros.

Next up is funky synth cut “Pure Grinding,” featuring Swedish singer Kristoffer Fogelmark and Earl St. Clair.

Others who’ve lent their golden pipes to Avicii’s new album, according to a press release, are Matisyahu, Wyclef Jean, Zak Abel, Gavin DeGraw and Zac Brown, though it’s noted that more singers are “to be announced.”

A July 2014 Rolling Stone profile pointed out that, at least as of 13 months ago, the song with Matisyahu and Wyclef Jean is a “reggae duet.” Also mentioned in the same piece are collaborations with Green Day‘s Billie Joe Armstrong (called “No Pleasing A Woman”), Coldplay‘s Chris Martin and System Of A Down‘s Serj Tankian.

Avicii’s 2013 debut album True reached #5 on the Billboard 200 and produced the hits “Wake Me Up” and “Hey Brother.”
