While most artists chose to go the scandalous and eye-popping route for the MTV Video Music Awards (see: Miley Cyrus‘ bejeweled booty look for tonight), Kanye West and Kim Kardashian decided to keep things neutral — well, clothing-wise anyway.
The power couple rocked various shades of oatmeal and bronze on the red carpet, but don’t let the tame looks fool you! Yeezy, who was the night’s 2015 Video Vanguard Award recipient, gave an intense speech that had the crowd shouting “YEEZUS!” Kanye for president, anyone?
