WTF: Reba McEntire Covers “I Knew You Were Trouble” While Nicole Scherzinger Dances
Occasionally, TV offers us some truly What In The Living Fuck Is Actually Happening?! moments that have us pondering the sanity of Hollywood producers…and such a moment occurred last night, on NBC’s ratings-challenged variety experiment Best Time Ever With Neil Patrick Harris.
For it was there that Reba McEntire walked onto the stage and began belting out a country-fried cover of Taylor Swift‘s 2012 pop crossover hit “I Knew You Were Trouble” while host Neil Patrick Harris and co-host Nicole Scherzinger engaged in some heavily-choreographed Wild Wild West saloon dancing and brawling.
The entire scene played out like something from a long lost episode of…you know what, screw it — it was it’s own new level of bizarre, and there is simply no comparison.
