Janet Jackson Teases New Snippet
Janet Jackson shared a snippet of a new song called "The Great Unknown." Listen.

While many of us were still recovering from the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards madness, artists like Janet Jackson kicked off the week with a bit more of a bang! The entertainer’s long-awaited Unbreakable World Tour began last night (August 31) in Vancouver, and she decided to treat fans with a great surprise.

Along with singing classics like “Nasty,””Miss You Much,” “Control” and “All for You” (as well as latest single “No Sleeep”), Janet also debuted a new track that features none other than Missy Elliott!

Rumored to be titled “Burn It Up,” the rapstress revealed on Twitter that it’s produced by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. Judging from the fan-made video, the track sounds like a fiery, bum-shaking club banger — the complete opposite from the smooth “No Sleeep.” This marks the second time the two collaborated since 2001’s “Son of a Gun (I Betcha Think This Song Is About You).” Let’s hope this means Missy’s highly-anticipated comeback is actually around the corner.
