Nick Jonas hung out with Jay Z this weekend during the Budweiser Made In America Festival in Philadelphia — a tremendous honor, since the rap mogul curated the festival. They took a cigar-smoking break after Nick’s confident day-one set. And as fan footage shows, they even watched Beyoncé‘s headlining set together.

But when Bey launched into “1+1,”  off 2011’s 4, their hangout session got awkward. Jay loses his shit, grinning from ear to ear as he sings along to every word. It’s a sweet moment to watch, especially since the two of them have been married for seven years and he has likely heard this song a thousand times before. (They did co-headline a tour, after all.) Look to his right, though, and you see Nick, just standing there. The “Levels” singer looks like he’d rather leave, or at least check his phone, but doesn’t want to be impolite — not when Jay is showing why he is the reigning king of the Beyhive.

Watch Jay Z sing along to Beyoncé’s “1+1” at Made in America up top, then revisit the 4 power ballad below.
