Cro: Idolator Interview
We speak to German rapper Cro about his US debut single "Dream." Read on.

German artists are making their presence felt on the Billboard Hot 100 like never before. Robin Schulz landed a pair of huge hits in 2014 (“Waves” and “Prayer In C”), while Milky Chance climbed into the top 40 with “Stolen Dance” and Felix Jaehn went all the way to number one with that remix of OMI’s “Cheerleader.” Austrian-bred, German-based pop/rock outfit AudioDamn! are hoping to add their name to that list with debut US single “Lights Out.”

The frenetic track, which documents a particularly brutal case of unrequited love, began life as an acoustic ballad. It then morphed into something darker yet hook-filled and instantly catchy. We’re excited to premiere the video for “Lights Out” above. The visual finds AudioDamn! rocking out in an enclosed space — think Blur’s “Song 2” without the ugly wallpaper! The band were signed by Epic Records after being discovered on SoundCloud. They’ve come a long way.
