Watch Justin Bieber do the acoustic version of his hit single "What Do You Mean?"

For all you folks who still revel in ’90s nostalgia, this news is just for you! It’s been a few years since we’ve heard anything solid from Craig David, but based on his recent appearance on BBC Radio 1xtra, the UK singer may just be prepping for a 2016 comeback!

David, who is most famous here in the states for hits like “7 Days” and his 2000 debut single “Fill Me In,” stopped by the London studio to perform an updated version of the latter 15-year-old smash. The buffed-up artist started it out slow, similar to the original “Fill Me In,” but soon kicked in with an amped instrumental of none other than Jack Ü and Justin Bieber‘s “Where Are Ü Now.”

The entire studio went into a frenzy as David remixed his own tune, and he even added a fresh rap verse! The performance is quite significant, as the singer was sampled in Bieber’s “Recovery” off 2013’s Journals. Once the BBC Radio 1xtra session went live, the UK singer expressed interest in working with the “What Do You Mean” crooner.

“Such a dope song had to go in over it. Let me know when you’re ready to hit the studio bro,” Craig tweeted after manager Scooter Braun publicly sent the link over to Justin. There is no word yet of when he will be releasing his sixth studio album.
