Leona Lewis Is Selling New LP ‘I Am’ For $3.99 On Grindr
Power ballads for power bottoms? Leona Lewis has turned to Grindr to plug new LP I Am. Users of the gay hook-up app can buy the Brit’s album for a measly $3.99. What are you waiting for? It’s a little unexpected given her demure image, but the 30-year-old isn’t the first diva to chase the pink dollar via sex apps. Madonna famously used Grindr to hold a Q&A with fans, while Nicki Minaj fired up her phone to hawk concert tickets.
I Am is Leona’s first release since leaving Sony Records in 2014. She turned to songwriter/producer Toby Gad (Fergie’s “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and Beyonce’s “If I Were A Boy”) to helm most of the album including singles “Thunder” and “Fire Under My Feet.” The “Bleeding Love” hitmaker will promote the opus with a UK tour starting on February 21, 2016. No North American dates have been announced yet. Check out her killer deal below.
