Mariah Carey Slays A Dragon In Ridiculous/Amazing Game Of War Commercial
Chart-topping superstar. Critically acclaimed (by me) actress. Dragon slayer. Yes, Mariah Carey adds yet another string to her bow as the new face of the mega-successful Game Of War: Fire Age app! The divine diva plugs the video game in a new commercial, which looks like an episode of Game Of Thrones filmed on an extra’s iPhone. But what it lacks in vision, execution and credibility, it more than makes up for in sheer glamor thanks to Mimi’s iconic cameo.
I don’t want to give too much away, but you’ll never think of Mariah’s signature song the same way after watching this hugely enjoyable mess (below). Apart from filming terrible commercials, the Lamb Whisperer has been preparing for the festive season. She is releasing a Christmas book, stars in a holiday special and is planning another residency at the Beacon Theatre in NYC. Watch the pop icon’s Game Of War promo below. If you dare.
