Mystery Skulls Featuring Nile Rodgers & Brandy, “Magic (Etnik Remix)”: Idolator Premiere
Nearly a year ago we thrilled to the ménage à pop that is Mystery Skulls, Nile Rodgers and Brandy, who teamed up for not just one, but two songs — “Number 1” and “Magic.” The latter track got a golden (literally) video treatment back in February, and all these months later, a “Magic” remix package is set to be released on September 18.
Ahead of that, Idolator is premiering Etnik‘s spacey nu-disco remix of “Magic.” It’s an altogether funky voyage that manages to amp up Rodgers’ stellar guitar work and makes for perfect weekend party music.
“Etnik is the man and this remix is immense and beautiful,” Mystery Skulls (aka Luis Dubuc) tells Idolator. “Easily one of the most, if not the most next level artists I’ve heard in a minute.”
