Ciara Covers Rolling Stones’ Classic “Paint It Black” In ‘The Last Witch Hunter’ Trailer: Watch
Ciara has been popping up in the most unexpected places this month! She marked the anniversary of September 11 with a moving cover of “Heal The World” on The View and then belted out the national anthem at the US Open. If that wasn’t enough to quench your thirst for CiCi, the R&B diva delivers a killer cover of Rolling Stones’ 1966 classic “Paint It Black” in Vin Diesel’s new blockbuster The Last Witch Hunter.
“I am honored to have been asked to cover such an iconic song by one of music’s greatest bands, the Rolling Stones, for the film,” Ciara says. “‘Paint It Black’ matches the film’s mystical and suspenseful plot perfectly. The film and song have the magical recipe that combines romanticism with a touch of black! I can not wait to see and hear the film and the song on the big screen with the rest of the world.”
