Demi Lovato made just one mistake last night (September 18) while performing at iHeartRadio Music Festival. When she introduced special guest Stephen Jenkins, she never mentioned his band’s name — the far more recognizable Third Eye Blind. After all, very few people cheered when Demi asked if there were ’90s kids there. Her next question was “Well, how many ’90s fans out there that weren’t ’90s kids?”

Fortunately, many more would recognize the song they played. Demi and Stephen did a duet version of “Jumper,” the rock radio staple off Third Eye Blind’s 1997 self-titled debut, which sold 3.5 million copies in the United States. It was also nice to see Demi loosen up, after trying hard to reassure the iHeartRadio crowd that she’s “Cool for the Summer,” Confident, etc. — that she is as “provocative” as she says.

Check out Demi Lovato’s full iHeartRadio Music Festival set below, and skip to 16:30 to see her bring out Third Eye Blind’s Stephen Jenkins.
