"Ghost Town" Draft One
Songwriter Sterling Fox shared the first draft of Adam Lambert's biggest hit yet.

Queen and Adam Lambert‘s headlining Rock in Rio set on September 18 was more than two hours long — a testament to the glam rock band’s enduring legacy. One of their biggest surprises was when Queen joined Adam to perform The Original High lead single “Ghost Town.” Instead of the Ennio Morricone-meets-C+C Music Factory original, they did a rock ‘n’ roll version where Queen guitarist Brian May‘s heavy riffs added drama. As if all the touring they’ve done together hasn’t made it clear already, this “Ghost Town” reworking drove home that Adam fronting Queen is more than a novelty.

Watch Queen assist Adam Lambert with “Ghost Town,” then see their headlining set in its entirety below.
