1989 has finally come to Spotify, though it’s not Taylor Swift‘s original album you’ll find on there. Rather, it’s the curiosity that is Ryan Adamsentire LP of covers of Swift’s latest smash release that’s available for streaming (and purchase, on iTunes) as of today (September 21).

“Style”

To-date, Swift’s 1989, which was released on October 27 last year, has sold 5 million copies and produced five hit singles (so far), three of which have topped the Billboard Hot 100.

“Bad Blood”

In a new interview with Zane Lowe‘s Beats1 show, Adams explained his reasoning for recording an album of 1989 covers this way: “I got back to L.A., it was around Christmas time. I was totally bummed out and I bought a four track cassette recorder. And I was like, I’m going to make 1989 like Nebraska style. Bruce Springsteen Nebraska. Just acoustic guitar, bunch of spring reverb, just me.”

“Wildest Dreams”
