The iconic British pop band discuss new album 'Paper Gods' & their collaborators.

This year’s fourth quarter is already jam-packed with exciting projects that will come from Janet Jackson, Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Adele and more — but things just got even more interesting! One of pop’s most mysterious artists, Sia of course, has plans to drop new music in a few days.

Throughout 2015, the singer has kept busy by working with fellow artists like Major Lazer, Kelly Clarkson, Carly Rae Jepsen and Giorgio Moroder. But now Sia is ready to release a project of her own, which she discussed back in February. Fast forward to today (September 21), the “Elastic Heart” chanteuse has changed her social media avatars from the shimmering blonde 1000 Forms Of Fear wig to a Cruella Deville-esque black + white one — a sign of her shifting into a new music era. Along with that, Sia tweeted a now-anticipated date: “9.25.15.”

There is a strong possibility the singer will be dropping her “Alive” single off her upcoming This Is Acting album, a track that she revealed was originally written for Adele. As for the LP? Sia states the project is already complete. She told NME, “I’m calling it This Is Acting because they are songs I was writing for other people, so I didn’t go into it thinking, ‘This is something I would say.’ It’s more like play-acting. It’s fun.”
