Lana Del Rey's 'Honeymoon': Review
We review Lana Del Rey's spellbinding third album 'Honeymoon.' Find out more.

Halsey emerged as one of the break-out pop divas of 2015 when debut LP Badlands debuted at number two on the Billboard 200. Even more impressive was the 20-year-old’s first-week sales tally of 115,000 units (97,000 pure album sales), which currently ranks as the year’s second-highest debut by a female artist. With her star very much on the rise, the New Jersey native is moving on to the album’s second single — viral hit “New Americana.”

Despite sounding like a SNL parody of Lana Del Rey’s “National Anthem,” the Lido-produced track has really captured the imagination of fans. “New Americana” recently became Halsey’s first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 without significant radio airplay or a video. The latter is on the way, however, and it looks like the newcomer is going with a Hunger Games-themed scenario. Watch the promising trailer up top.
