We review Lana Del Rey's spellbinding third album 'Honeymoon.' Find out more.

In the midst of prepping for the release of Every Open Eye (which is now available for stream), Chvrches stopped by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge to perform an unexpected but pretty awesome cover of Justin Bieber‘s current smash — “What Do You Mean?”

The Scottish trio strip the original track’s light tropical house flair and stamps it with disco-fused synths, sharp percussion and an almost emotionless delivery. The end result makes for a slightly eerie, darker version that is quintessential Chvrches.

Look out for Chvrches’ sophomore Every Open Eye LP on September 25, which features tracks like “Clearest Blue,” “Leave A Trace” and “Never Ending Circles.”  Also catch the trio on their fall tour beginning September 29.
