Ed Sheeran & Rudimental Groove Out On “Lay It All On Me”: Listen

The most recent Ed Sheeran collab we’ve heard was his stale, awkward duet with The Weeknd, “Dark Times.” I am happy to report that Rudimental‘s “Lay It All On Me,” which features Sheeran on vocals, is a much more enjoyable affair.

The UK dance quartet’s newest We The Generation single rides a hushed disco-pop groove, resulting in something not unlike what Disclosure was going for on much of Caracal. There are some pretty background details like steel drums and muted guitar wahs that give it more of a sense of movement than is apparent at first.

Listen below.

We The Generation is out October 2.
