Coldplay's Chris Martin joined Ed Sheeran on stage in Boston — watch!

Ed Sheeran used to perform an acoustic cover of Beyoncé‘s “Drunk In Love” during radio interviews. Last night (September 26), a year or so later at the Chris Martin-curated Global Citizen Festival 2015, was their chance to (finally) sing it together. Beyoncé surprised concertgoers by bringing Ed out during her headlining set. And while the end result was obviously more low-key than the Jay Z-featuring original, Bey actually seemed hyped to do this version for the first time. It’s a good thing that Ed has had all that practice performing the song.

That wasn’t the only surprise Beyoncé had in store. She introduced First Lady Michelle Obama to conclude her set, then sang a duet version of “Redemption Song” by Bob Marley and the Wailers with Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder. Watch below.
