Ariana Confirms "Focus" Release Date
The first taste of Ariana Grande's third LP 'Moonlight' will arrive very soon. Read on.

Ariana Grande kicked off the promo for new single “Focus” (previously known as “Focus On Me”) a little early by sharing part of the first verse on Instagram. “I know what I came to do and that ain’t gonna change,” the sassy lyrics read. “So go ahead and talk ya talk ’cause I wont take the bait!” If this is any indication, it looks like the 22-year-old is returning with an empowering kiss-off anthem. It arrives in exactly one month, on October 30.

What else do we know about the song? For starters, it was co-written by Ariana, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Savan Kotecha and Peter Svensson. That’s the same line-up that created My Everything highlight “Love Me Harder,” so hopefully they can recapture that magic. It’s interesting that the pint-sized diva is launching the Moonlight era in October — the same month that Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato drop their heavily-promoted LPs. She’s obviously not scared of a little competition!
