MØ Interview
We speak to MØ about her debut LP, Scandipop and the Spice Girls.

isn’t about to let all that “Lean On” momentum go to waste! The Danish diva will drop a new single called “Kamikaze,” the first taste of her sophomore LP, on October 15. That’s about all we know about it at this stage — apart from vague whispers that it was produced by frequent collaborator Diplo. The 27-year-old announced the track via an epilepsy-inducing gif, so I’m expecting it to be a frenetic club-banger.

The indie-pop queen generated a swell of hype in 2014 with critically acclaimed debut LP No Mythologies To Follow. It produced a string of great singles like “Don’t Wanna Dance” and “Waste Of Time,” but she landed her first radio hit as the featured vocalist on Iggy Azalea’s “Beg For It.” MØ then took things to the next level as the voice of Major Lazer’s global smash “Lean On.” See her announcement gif below.
