Janet Jackson's 'Unbreakable': Album Review
Read our thoughts on the entertainer's long-awaited comeback.

We’ve finally reached the weekend, Idolator readers! The past few days were filled with major music moments, which kicked off with Fetty Wap getting into a motorcycle accident (he is reportedly covering just fine).

JoJo dropped her comeback video for “When Love Hurts” and Nicki Minaj will be heading to television for her own comedy series. Both Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato posed for Complex‘s new issue, while Selena Gomez and Carly Rae Jepsen announced tour dates.

On Idolator’s ends, we interviewed Madison Beer, Felix Jaehn and Garbage‘s Shirley Manson, launched another Pop Perspective for Selena Gomez’s “Me & The Rhythm” single and reviewed Janet Jackson‘s anticipated Unbreakable album.

And of course, our readers spoke their minds on the going-ons in the frantic music world. Read some of the best and shadiest comments below!

:: XboxCentral took things a little too seriously on Janet Jackson’s ‘Unbreakable’: Album Review: “This b***h needs to be slapped for this piss poor review. She said “Well Traveled” was a yawn? That’s one of the best songs on the album and strikes a chord within. You have to have soul and a heart to get this album so maybe that’s why Kathy is a deer caught in the headlights. Janet made a phenomenal album and it is not disjointed, it’s cohesive.”

:: shrumpi wasn’t feeling it on Lady Gaga Covers Chic’s “I Want Your Love” For Tom Ford’s 2016 Collection Video: Watch: “It’s better than the self-indulgent sh•t show that was ‘Artpop’ – but it could frankly be anybody singing this. THe original is far superior…much sexier… Kind of tired. I’m very disappointed…”

:: H.E. Wings showed intense Drake standom on Drake Is Full Of Shit, And These Self-Fellating, Myth-Making ‘Fader’ Quotes Prove It: “silly article. The flow jacking thing is hilarious. Lets be real: You may have never of even have heard of Migos, Weeknd and IloveMakomenn if not for Drake. He made them all famous. Migos will probably never be as famous as the “Versace (Remix)”. Drake jumping on Future’s first single was also a huge look. Drake gives attention to underground artists and instead of getting props for raising their status and shining a light on underappreciated talent. he gets castigated. As with all things Drake does. He cant win cuz he is really hated because he is a light-skin boy-band-looking Canadian – not because of his music. everyone knows when you turn on black radio, its all either (1) Drake, (2) artists Drake helped discover or (3) Drake biters. And yes Fetty Wap is only here cause Drake made melody in rap so cool. Get real people. He runs rap right now. Get over it”

:: Nate Lyless said this on Azealia Banks Compares LGBT Community To KKK, Continues Her Slide Into Irrelevancy: “At this point, the only thing i can think of is that she has a masochistic pleasure in destroying her career and dignity. There couldn’t be any other reasons”

:: JOHN didn’t hold much back on Lady Gaga’s New Album Is “Really Fantastic” According To Elton John: “I hope it is, but I wouldn’t trust Elton John… When was the last time he wrote anything new? I mean, new, not recycled for a funeral or a pale copy of his (now 40 year old) hits? Isn’t he related to her in some ways anyway? I do hope it’s good, but I’ll believe it when I hear it with my own ears.”

:: Lastly, Jay had a good point on Miley Cyrus’ “Hands Of Love”: Listen To Her ‘Freeheld’ Soundtrack Song: “I wish that she would sing songs that showcase her talent, her voice. Its easy to forget with all the twerking, the tongue, the weed, etc. that she does have a good voice. It just gets lost. I admire her desire to be herself, to be somewhat creative, but she should just strip everything else away and just sing.”
